There is a comraderie in sports like in nothing else I've been a part of. With the right group of people, it is so much fun to play. Win or lose, when everyone is looking to have fun and still do their best; it's edifying to be a part of. Even though I can't move as easily today as most days, playing was worth it.
Baseball season is upon us. Those of you who share my love for the game probably didn't need to be told about this. It is a very exciting time of the year though. Grass is getting green and growing. The icy chill is leaving the air and all around it seems fresh and new. I love spring for the fact that it ends winter. I used to be a very devoted winter sports person, but I'm finding that I like not having to wear a coat and looking a little more bronze, over the parka pastey-white motif. But back to baseball. It should be a lot of fun to watch the Mariners with the new lineup. I think they'll do well. I won't make any predictions though. I'd hate to think I had a hand in any teams downfall. Not much more news on this front. Hope all who read this are as pleased with life as I am at this moment.
