NFL Football

I attended the preseason game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Dallas Cowboys last night. While it was fun to go to the stadium, Quest Field is as nice as they come, I found myself asking, "what gives?" Or more accurately, "why would anyone buy season tickets to this?" Last nights experience highlights why I love baseball and tolerate football. There was no rhythm to the game. There was no reverence. Whoever hits the other person harder wins. While I'm not against this game, it just doesn't compare to baseball. I feel like I should mention that the tickets were given to me. Therefore I'm still able to be shocked people pay for them.

Give me a baseball game between any two teams at Safeco anyday. To top our football experience, we had the rare, I say this facetiously, priviledge of being seated behind two very drunk individuals. They were so drunk they were spilling more than they were drinking. They also did a lot philosophizing. Why is it that people think they are so wise when utterly drunk?
